The Ocean Freight Charges, Freight Rates, Surcharges, and Service Fees outlined in your Rate Document are governed by these Rate Document Terms and Conditions, together with any provisions specified in your Rate Document and the carrier’s current governing tariffs available on the Global Shipping Delivery Agency website at the time of shipment.
In the event of any inconsistency between the following documents, the order of precedence shall be:
Unless specifically designated as Fixed within the Rate Document, all Freight Rates, Surcharges, and Service Fees represent maximum applicable rates and remain subject to change without prior notice unless otherwise stated.

All applicable charges will be reflected in the carrier’s prevailing tariff schedules and detailed on the final invoice once a booking has been accepted.
Acceptance of any booking remains subject to vessel availability, cargo space, and equipment availability. All transportation services are performed in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable Bill of Lading issued by the carrier.
Ocean Freight Charges, Freight Rates, Surcharges, and Service Fees shall remain effective from the stated Rate Effective Date until further notice unless otherwise specified (“Rate Effective Period”).
Global Shipping Delivery Agency reserves the right to review and renegotiate rates whenever necessary. Any revised rates or charges mutually agreed upon shall become effective immediately unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Rate Document remains valid subject to the following conditions:
The entity identified as the Eligible Shipping Party must be recognized as the shipping party by Global Shipping Delivery Agency.
Freight Rates, Surcharges, and Fees apply only when:
Where an Eligible Named Account is specified, that account must be listed as either the Shipper or Consignee on the applicable Bill of Lading.
The applicable Rate Folder Number must be provided when making a booking.
All quoted rates are subject to currency exchange fluctuations at the time of shipment.
For shipments involving countries subject to specific financial restrictions, freight charges and associated fees may be required to be settled in approved alternative currencies rather than U.S. Dollars.
Charges identified as Fixed shall remain unchanged during the validity period specified.
Charges designated as Tariff-based shall be determined according to the carrier’s prevailing tariff schedule at the time of shipment.
The binding agreement between the customer and Global Shipping Delivery Agency governing transportation services and applicable charges.
Refers to any surcharge or fee that applies at the time transportation services are performed.
A surcharge or fee applicable only when a Bill of Lading is released from a designated location.
Charges that will be determined in accordance with prevailing tariff rules at the time of shipment or, where no tariff rule exists, at the sole discretion of Global Shipping Delivery Agency.
The contents of the Rate Document are confidential and must not be disclosed, distributed, or shared with competitors or unauthorized third parties without prior written consent from Global Shipping Delivery Agency.
These Terms and Conditions and any Rate Document issued under them shall be governed and interpreted in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
Both parties agree to comply with all applicable data protection and privacy legislation, including the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and any related laws governing the processing of personal data.
For purposes of providing transportation and logistics services:
By utilizing our services, customers authorize Global Shipping Delivery Agency to process personal information necessary to perform transportation services, fulfill contractual obligations, comply with legal requirements, and communicate with regulatory authorities when required.
Global Shipping Delivery Agency may transfer personal data to affiliated companies, service providers, subcontractors, agents, governmental authorities, or other authorized entities where necessary to fulfill transportation services and comply with applicable regulations. Any international transfer of personal data will be carried out in accordance with applicable data protection laws and approved data transfer mechanisms.
For the purposes of rate validity, a shipment shall be considered delivered once the full Bill of Lading quantity has been received and accepted for carriage. Shipment timing and applicability of rates shall be determined in accordance with the carrier’s governing tariff rules in effect at the time of shipment.
By utilizing the services of Global Shipping Delivery Agency, customers acknowledge and accept these Terms and Conditions as part of the transportation agreement.
